I started Kung Fu with the simple ambition of getting fitter and stronger never suspecting that it would give me my life.
For many years I worked in the Market Data section of IT, installing and supporting systems for major UK and worldwide financial institutions. In 2010 I resigned to teach Fujian White Crane Kung Fu full time.
Through my involvement with Wushu Scholar, both filming Chinese Kung Fu masters and producing martial arts videos, I have helped to preserve the heritage of many Kung Fu styles. It also allowed me to travel to many unknown (to the West) but spectacular places in mainland China. The combined passions of Kung Fu and food, sometimes greased with Chinese rice wine (Bai Jiu), breached the many language and cultural barriers that arose during this work.
